Graphitene, established in 2013 in the UK, produces graphite compounds, graphene and graphene oxide in lab-scale in collaboration with NTNU in Norway and Cambridge University in the UK.
In 2015 the company's small-scale manufacturing plant in the UK commenced production. The company is also engaged in various graphite and graphene R&D projects.
