Germany-based Accurion was established in 2009 as a merger between Halcyonics and Nanofilm Technology. The company develops and supplies high-end Imaging Ellipsometry and Active Vibration Isolation equipment.
Accurion's imaging ellipsomerty equipment is offered as a measurement tool for graphene - and can be used to automatically localize small flakes down to a few microns in lateral dimension and to distinguish between mono-, bi- or n-layer graphene. The method is based on the pixel-wise comparison of a stack of delta and psi maps with the optical model.
