Graphenex was established in 2014 with aims to develop prototype high energy supercapacitors based on graphene materials. The company aimed to develop the technology and team up with supercapacitor companies to commercialize it. It seems the company is no longer in business.

Grapheno's first application was supposed to be an EMI-shielding paint or coating, based on graphene - which can offer protection to sensitive electronics. It seems as if the company is no longer in business.

GraphenTech

GraphenTech logoNetherland-based GraphenTech was established in 2016 with an aim to become a graphene producer, using technologies developed at several Universities in Europe, Russia and Latin America.

GraphenTech aimed to establish a blockchain-based security system that was supposed to allow it to raise capital and initiate trading in graphene based on its tokens. The company's was planning to do an ICO in October 2018.

Hangzhou GeLanFeng Nanotechnology

Hangzhou GeLanFeng logoHangzhou GeLanFeng Nanotechnology was established in 2011 to focus on graphene and related 2D materials.

GeLanFeng supplied monolayer and few-layer CVD graphene and MoS2 and also graphene flakes (GNP) powders, mostly to University research teams. The company also developed graphene applications and IP.

Hengli Shengtai (Xiamen) Graphene Technology

Hengli Shengtai (Xiamen) Graphene Technology (associated with Angstron Materials' Dr. Bor Jang) was established in 2016 in Xiamen, China, to produce graphene raw materials and graphene applications.

The Company reportedly had a production capacity of 100 tons of graphene, with plans to increase the production capacity to 300 tons and eventually 5,000 tons in 2020.

LIGC Application

LIGC Application logo imageLIGC Application was an Israel-based producer of Laser-Induced Graphene filters (LIG). LIGC Application is at the forefront of laser-induced graphene commercialization with patented technology. In 2013, laser-induced graphene was first derived from a plastic substrate by Professor James Tour of Rice University, and LIGC has based its work on this technology.

The company went out of business in 2022.

LWP Technologies Ltd (ASX: LWP) is an Australian oil and gas technology company focused on developing a next generation, fly-ash based, proppant for use in hydraulic fracturing (fracking) of oil and gas wells globally.

Mega Graphite

Mega Graphite logoMega Graphite was established in 2009 in Ontario, Canada with an aim to mine, process, purify and supply natural graphite. The company holds four graphite mines in Canada and also the Uley Graphite Mine in South Australia.

Mega Graphite was bought by Paramax Resources in early 2013.

mPhase Technologies

mPhase was exploring the printing of its "Smart NanoBattery" using graphene (and possibly other advanced materials). The company no longer seems to be in business.
