PEN Inc. (PENC) is a U.S-based company that deals with developing, commercializing, and marketing enhanced performance products enabled by nanotechnology that solve everyday problems for customers in the optical, transportation, military, sports, and safety industries.

Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Nanofilm Ltd., the Company develops, manufactures and sells products based on nanotechnology including its Ultra Clarity® brand eyeglass cleaner and Defog It™ brand defogging products.

Perpetuus Carbon

Perpetuus Energy logoPerpetuus Carbon was a graphene producer based in the UK. In early 2014, the company announced that it will begin graphene production with an annual capacity of 100 tons.

The company produced surface modified graphene materials, customized to customer specifications.

Primary Dispersions

Primary Dispersions Limited (PDL) has developed an advanced and disruptive milling technology (‘ConCor') in collaboration with their technology partners, Maelstrom Advanced Process Technology (Maelstrom APT).

Qingdao Haoxin New Energy Technology

Qingdao Haoxin New Energy Technology Corporation, located at Pingdu High-tech Industrial Park in Qingdao, China, was founded in 2012 as a manufacturer and developer of carbon-based materials (natural graphite, artificial graphite, Si-and-tin based anodes, and conductive slurries based on carbon nanotubes and graphene) for high energy and high capacity lithium-ion batteries.

The company operated an R&D lab and was certified by ISO9001. The company owned a natural graphite resource and runs a state-of-the-art pilot production line, with an annual production capacity of 8,000 tons of natural graphite anodes, 5,000 tons of artificial graphite anodes, 500 tons of carbon nanotubes, and 500 tons of graphene.

Qingdao Huagao Energy Technology

Qingdao Huagao Energy Technology was established in China to produce graphene materials and develop graphene applications.

QHET offered several types of graphene and graphene-oxide materials, and aimed to explore graphene applications in Li-Ion batteries, supercapacitors and semiconductors. The company seems no longer to be in business.

Quantum Materials Corporation

Redex Nano Lab

Redex Nano Lab logoRedex Nano Lab (RNL), based in Ghaziabad, UP, India, was established in early 2011 with an aim to become a nanotechnology pioneer. The company commercialized several nano materials, including Multiwall Carbon Nano Tubes and Graphene products.

RNL currently produces graphene sheets and nanoflakes using CVD, and they also offer customized production.

RS Mines

RS Mines logoRS Mines (previously GS International & the RS Group), based in Sri Lanka, owns several 99.99% natural high purity crystalline vein graphite mines in Sri Lanka - including their flagship mine, the Queen's Mine.

The company produced graphite oxide (GO) products, offering them via an online store. RS Mines also planned to supply graphene on substrates. In 2016 RS Mines was merged into Global Graphene Technologies and aimed to become a public company in Australia.
