Dreamfly Innovations (DFI) was founded in India in September 2021 by IIT and IISc Grads with 16 years of collective experience in the battery space.

DFI aims to deliver a safe, lightweight and high quality electric-aviation batteries in the market that not only meets regulatory requirements, but also exceed performance expectations.  DFI states that it uses non-explosive graphene chemistry cells. 

It relies on its in-house capability to design and manufacture battery packs, expertise in embedded-power electronics design and firmware development, as well as complete battery integration. DFI makes customized batteries, customized BMS and Battery heating systems in any form, size and power for drones, electric planes and Aerospace applications.

In September 2023, DFI secured $300,000 for advancing product commercialization.
