The group of Dr. Matthew Eisaman at Brookhaven National Lab and Stony Brook University has an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to perform multidisciplinary research that explores new applications of graphene-substrate interfaces. The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigator in the design, fabrication, characterization, and optimization of graphene-based optoelectronic devices.
The project is highly interdisciplinary and seeks to understand, invent, and deploy new optoelectronic applications of graphene. This research, which spans from fundamental questions to applied challenges of implementation and scaling, sits at the intersection of multiple fields, including physics, electrical engineering, materials science, and chemistry. Candidates from any of these and related fields are encouraged to apply.
Project members will have access to world-class facilities at Brookhaven National Laboratory, including the Center for Functional Nanomaterials. The postdoctoral candidate should have laboratory experience with graphene and/or graphene-based devices.
