Versarien signs deal with Fortune 500 company to explore its GNPs in construction applications
Versarien reports it has signed an agreement with U.S-based firm AECOM, a Fortune 500 company, to explore the potential of its graphene-based Nanene in construction. AECOM is involved in various construction projects from planning new cities and building skyscrapers to "repairing damaged environments."
AECOM "will initially be working on a project involving the incorporation of Versarien's proprietary Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets into large-scale polymer structures used in civil infrastructure projects, with a view to increasing their structural strength".
Versarien enters agreement with AXIA Materials on smart building and EV applications
Versarien, the advanced materials engineering group, has announced that it has entered into a collaboration agreement with AXIA Materials to develop graphene-enhanced composite materials and smart graphene devices using both Versarien's proprietary Nanene graphene nano platelets and proprietary Graphinks graphene inks.
AXIA, based in South Korea, develops advanced thermoplastic composite material solutions under its LiteTex brand for the automotive, sports, electronics and building sectors, and produces pre-fabricated buildings under its Pixel Haus brand.
Versarien provides updates on several energy storage R&D fronts
Versarien, the advanced materials engineering group, has provided an update on its activities in relation to graphene-enhanced power storage devices like batteries and supercapacitors. The primary goal of incorporating graphene into these devices, Versarien says, is to significantly increase power storage capacity and reduce charging times.
Versarien has been working with WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group) and their partner companies and scientists at the universities of Warwick and Cambridge to collaborate on the production of power storage devices such as batteries and supercapacitors using Versarien's proprietary Nanene graphene nano platelets. Significant advances have been made through incorporating the Company's high quality graphene into these devices and the Company looks forward to commercial products becoming available in due course.
Versarien enters commercial agreement with MediaDevil to launch products with its Nanene GNPs
Versarien has announced that it has entered into a commercial agreement with PhoneDevil ("MediaDevil") to launch a new range of earphones and other audio equipment and accessories which will feature Versarien's proprietary Nanene graphene nano platelets and utilize the Nanene brand. In addition, the companies are at an advanced stage of launching a range of mobile phone and tablet device accessories utilizing Nanene, which will also feature the Nanene branding.
The products, which will initially focus on earphones, will be sold on MediaDevil's online platform, in addition to other online retail platforms such as Amazon, along with being supplied to high street retailers and MediaDevil's distribution partners globally. The agreement will see Versarien's Nanene brand feature on all product packaging, for which Versarien will receive a royalty on each product sold.
Versarien to collaborate with Arrow Greentech
Versarien, through its subsidiary Cambridge Graphene, has signed a wide-ranging agreement with Arrow Greentech, an India-based holding company and a leading global manufacturer of cast water-soluble film. In addition, Versarien launched a new brand to market its graphene inks under the name Graphinks.
Versarien and Arrow Greentech have entered into an exclusive commercial arrangement for the supply of propriety Graphinks (graphene inks) to Arrow Greentech for onward supply to the water-soluble film market worldwide; to collaborate on exploring the potential benefits of using graphene within security threads for banknotes and passports on a named-exclusive basis.
Versarien announces consumer goods collaboration
Versarien has announced that it has signed a collaboration with an undisclosed FTSE listed European manufacturer and supplier of coâmanufactured and private label consumer products for the household and personal care markets.
The collaboration will see both parties working on a number of projects involving the incorporation of Versarien's proprietary Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets into polymer structures. In particular, the collaboration will aim to provide alternative solutions for packaging and the enhancement of existing products utilizing graphene-enhanced polymers.
Versarien enters agreement with Luxus to establish a UK graphene-enhanced polymer supply chain
Versarien has announced that it has signed an agreement with Luxus to develop a UK graphene-enhanced polymer supply chain, to enable the volume production of graphene enhanced plastics.
Luxus manufactures high quality thermoplastics from prime and recycled polymers and is the largest independently owned plastic manufacturer in the UK, supplying plastics to the automotive, packaging, civil engineering and a variety of other sectors.
Versarien secures graphene supply contract with major tyre producer
Versarien has announced that it has secured a purchase order for the Company's proprietary Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets from a leading tyre producer, based in Europe.
Versarien will initially be providing 500g of Nanene for testing purposes, to explore the benefits of adding graphene to tyres supplied to the automotive sector. If successful, further orders would be expected.
Versarien announces collaboration with world leading aerospace group
Advanced materials engineering group Versarien has announced an agreement with a "world leading provider of aero engines and components, including avionics, electrical power and mechanical systems for aircraft".
The agreement will see Versarien and its new unnamed partner collaborate on research and development projects using Versarien's proprietary Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets in base materials and sensory devices used in a variety of products in the aerospace and aero engineering sectors.
Versarien to collaborate with Team Sky on the development of graphene-enhanced cycling equipment
Versarien, the advanced materials engineering group, has announced that it has entered into a collaboration agreement with professional cycling team, Team Sky.
Versarien and Team Sky have agreed to collaborate to explore the benefits of adding graphene to high performance cycling equipment used by Team Sky. These products may include cycle frames, wheels and tyres, together with rider helmets and further rider apparel.
